the issue of Sunday alcohol sales is a local issue!
Please take a moment to visit the link below this
weekend or first thing Monday and send a letter to

Send a letter to the following decision maker(s):
Georgia Senate
Lt. Governor Casey Cagle (if you live in Georgia)
Below is the sample letter:
Subject: Vote Yes On Senate Bill 137!
Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here],
I am writing to ask for your support on Senate Bill 137, which gives communities the right to decide if their retail stores should be allowed to sell alcohol on Sunday.
Ironically, Georgia law does not allow me to purchase a bottle of wine on Sunday, however it does allow me go to a sports bar or restaurant on Sunday and drink and drive home. This makes no sense to anyone I talk to.
Polls show that the vast majority of Georgia voters want to move in the direction of 47 other states. At a time when legislators are addressing budget issues, please don't pass up the chance to raise revenue by eliminating Georgia's antiquated blue laws.
Please support Senate Bill 137 which gives local communities the voice they deserve!
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
