Support Credit Card Interchange Reform Legislation

Tell our Kentucky U.S. House of Representatives members to support credit card merchant fee (Interchange) reform. I am writing to you in support of your vote to PASS H.R. 2695 Conyers/Shuster "Credit Card Fair Fee Act" and H.R. 2382 Welch/Shuster "Credit Card Interchange Fee Act".

Last month retailers from Kentucky visited with you in Washington and stated their reasons for why the existing Interchange system must be changed. This legislation is important to me and consumers all across Kentucky.

Background Information

Members of the KGA/KACS visited with our Kentucky U.S. Congressional representatives in Washington, DC last month.

After stating the case for why the Interchange system needs to be changed, our Congressmen told us it would take a strong voice from retailers back in Kentucky to help get this legislation passed.

National and state associations have done a tremendous job getting us to this point. KGA/KACS members paid their own way to Washington last month and eloquently stated the case for why change is needed.

Now it's up to YOU to make your voice heard and provide our Congressmen the ability to support this legislation.
